POLYCARBIN Pipette Tip Box Recycling
If your lab is located OUTSIDE of Clapp, Langley, Crawford, or Chevron then pre-paid Polycarbin pipette tip box recycling containers (For sustainability boxes use Stockroom catalog number: SB1) can be purchased for $0.01 from the Dietrich School Scientific Stockroom via the PantherExpress punchout. These containers come with pre-paid shipping labels so once they are full, they can simply be placed in the mail!
Pre-paid pipette tip box recycling containers are available to labs not located in Clapp, Langley, Chevron & Crawford. These four locations have a building-wide recycling program for pipette tip boxes that labs
can participate in. For Pitt labs outside these locations, please participate in this new recycling program by ordering your pre-paid tip box recycling container from the Dietrich School Scientific Stockroom for just $0.01 !
After your lab fills the box up with any brand of pipette tip boxes, refill wafers, pipette tip box racks, and detachable lids just seal the box up and place it in the mail. The box has pre-paid shipping and will be sent to the recycling center to be turned into the next generation of laboratory products.

Ordering through the DSS Stockroom
If you have not used a department or unit account to order from the stockroom, then email the account number to accountrequests@cfo.pitt.edu to have the account activated with the 6088 subcode.
1. Use the PantherExpress System (PEx).
2. Select the DSS Stockroom Punchout. 
3. Use: My Hotlists.
4. Select the *Sustainability from the Company Lists.
All items to support sustainability are in one place from the DSS Stockroom.
5. Add items to your cart. For sustainability boxes use catalog number:
SB1 for polycarbin Pipette Tip Box Recycling.
SB2 for a Pitt Green Lab Product Sample box.
6. Proceed to checkout.
7. In the PEx shopping cart enter the account number and use the 6088 subcode.
8. Select DELIVERY FEE:US for the fulfillment address to have the PPE and supplies delivered. 
9. Once the order is approved in the PEx it will be sent to the DSS Stockroom to arrange delivery.
10. it will be sent to your PEx profile Ship-To building address.
